Gender imbalance at the top of cross-border payments

8 March was International Women’s Day. Many of us work with tremendous female colleagues and this was a day to celebrate that. At the top of the payments world, the picture is somewhat different.

 

Female CEOs in Top 100 cross-border payments companies

 

A grand total of three companies out of our Top 100 cross-border payment companies have a female CEO. That’s 3% for you data types out there. Not good.

The one bright point is that our research shows that the broader C-suites are much more balanced, which means we should see some of this imbalance reduce over the coming years.
